Parks in Spain are definitely different than in the U.S. Liz and JP called me one day and told me to meet them at Parque de Garcia Lorca. I expected a little park with a couple of benches. I had no idea how big it would be.The pictures don't do the park justice.
The park is free and open everyday. A lot of people go there to hang out or relax. Inside the park is Federico Garcia Lorca's summer home. I had never heard of Federico Garcia Lorca before coming to Granada. He was a famous poet and dramatist who spent his summers in Granada. The museum is located inside his house and displays furniture used by Lorca and his family. There were also a few rooms that displayed the letters, poems and plays he wrote. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the house. Below are a few shots of the outside of the house.
