Alcazar

The Alcazar in Sevilla was built in the 10th century for governors of the Moorish state. I was surprised to find out the Alcazar still functions as a palace today.Parts of the palace are still used by the royal family.

 Outside of the Alcazar
Patio de las Doncellas
This reminded me a lot of the Alhambra

One of the walls inside
Another pic of the Patio
One of the most incredible rooms I've ever seen
This room was filled with tapestries that covered the walls
A lot of them showed Columbus on his journey to the Americas

 Before we lost JP
JP's phone wasn't working and we got separated. He wanted to explore the gardens and Jeremy and I wanted to sit in the shade. We spent about two hours looking for him only to find out he thought we left so he left. He was later found at the bus station 6 hours later.

You can see how we kind of got sick of the gardens
