What I'm Going to/What I Already Do Miss About Granada

All things associated with apartment 1c including...
The view from my room
Seeing my clothes hanging and the sound of the clothes being pulled across
Watching Friends in Spanish everyday at lunch

Breakfast on the balcony
 Best juice ever!
I would have two or three cups a day. Julio, Maria and I talked about all of the students they've had stay with them one night. They said everyone is different and has different likes and dislikes. They said they'll remember me because of my love for Coca Cola Diet, Juice and Fruit. They told me they remember another girl because she loved bread (glad I'm not that girl).

Walking by windows filled with food like this one
Toastada Mixta (Toast on Italian bread with butter and jam)
The kiosk/the man who worked at the kiosk where I put money on my cell phone
Walking by this store everyday and drooling over the cupcakes
I'm proud of myself because I resisted
 The tons of graffiti everywhere
JP and Liz
 Ice cream

Walking by places with meat hanging
 Wandering into shops like this
Cars packed on the sidewalks
 Mopeds/Motorcycles

Adios Granada

The last couple of days I really didn't want to leave Granada. A month is way too short!
 Me starting to pack
Maria took this picture of me and she kept saying "Smile girl"
She didn't seem to understand the purpose of the photo...
Me outside Granada's airport at 5:30 am
Plane to Madrid
Jeremy and I
Travel buddies for the day
I don't know why we were so happy at 7 am
 Madrid's airport
Coolest airport I've ever been to
There were other areas with different colored ceilings as well
Jeremy with the only thing that got him through the 3 hour layover and 1 hour delay (in his favorite airport ever)
Banana gummies
Had to take a picture because it was so... interesting
Was offered the choice between beef and pasta
I chose pasta thinking it'd be spaghetti and this is what I got instead

One of the best people I know

I couldn’t have survived this trip without one particular person, JP. Our friendship began when he found me at the Madrid airport, the 10th biggest airport in the world. After waiting about 20 minutes I was thinking “Where is this guy? What’s taking him so long?” I found out later he had to go to about 3 different terminals just to find me. Over the course of the month, he endured my complaining, my freak outs, and constant requests for pictures. Thanks JP for putting up with me (I'm still not sure how you did it) and for always asking me "Are you getting stressed out right now?"

The red spanish pants he never bought but really wanted
JP opening his thank you gift
I got him one for walking me home every night
 He was excited
 Action shot
JP had a thing about swords- since I couldn't get him an actual one I opted for a wooden one
JP has this weird thing about advertisements
We'd be walking around and he'd just stop and ask questions about ads
JP with his daily ice cream
I'm not exaggerating he ate it everyday
When he would get really stressed out I'd tell him go get some ice cream
once he'd either reply "I already had some today" or
"I can't keep spending money on ice cream"

Last Dinner in Granada

Maria made my last dinner special by making sangria. She allowed us to watch in amazement as she made it.
The dinner table the last night
 Meat and vegetables
 Me at the table
 Roomies
Julio and I with our ice cream
Julio, Maria and I
It was a very sad goodbye

Bike ride

Liz and I had tried to go biking about 5 times, but something always came up. It was our last day in Granada and we decided to rent them for a few hours. We had planned to bike for 3 or 4 hours but we only lasted for an hour an a half. The streets were so crowded and the cobblestone streets and hills made it very difficult. We would have to pull over and stop and say "I need a minute." Both of us hated walking everywhere but after we got back to the bike shop we couldn't wait to get off the bikes and walk.
 Liz and I
Me on one of the worst bikes I've ever ridden
Yes I was in a dress- but we hadn't planned on biking that day
 A new park we discovered
New views of Granada we'd never seen before
Liz struggling a little after only an hour in
It was tougher than we thought
 More new sites
A bridge we'd never seen before
