What I Miss About America

  •  Showers that have the faucets bolted into the wall. It’s a new experience (to put it nicely) having to hold the water and wash yourself/shampoo. I won’t go into more detail than that.
  •  Ability to text/bbm/communicate
  •  Being able to know what the weathers going to be like (lack of internet)
  •  INTERNET ( I know I sound like such a brat- but it’s true) Makes me realize how dependent on the internet I am
  •  PRETZELS and RAISINS! I cannot find them anywhere and the words for them are not even in my Spanish/English dictionary.
  •  Ability to make to do lists on my phone (I’m nuts I know)
  •  Fast walkers (I could be the fastest walking person in Granada)
  •  Ability to wear my typical outfit (sweat pants and a sweatshirt) However, I am feeling a little more sophisticated in jeans and dresses.
  • Decisiveness (everyone here just goes with the flow- which I have a VERY hard time doing)
  • Computers and phones are in spanish so it's hard to know what buttons/keys to push
