What I Love About Granada

  • The cobble stone roads
  • How people dress (very sophisticated)
  • My Spanish classes (very fun and laid back)
  • Not having to play "the food game" (Lunch and dinner everyday is a surprise which I kinda like)
  •  Little kids in their uniforms going to school. A lot of them have rolling suitcases that they use as their backpacks
  • The architecture of the buildings
  • The motorcyclists (when they're not trying to kill me)
  • How friendly and inviting people are (you meet someone once and you've already exchanged phone numbers)
  • The weather
  • My host parents- they want to make sure I'm happy and enjoying myself
  • How ambitious/self sufficient/ gutsy people are (J.P. coming here knowing no English, Kristen who came to Granada without a place to live, a woman who is planning on staying here a year)
  • All the references to America (Mickey Mouse, American music, Spongebob)
  • All the pastries
