Nerja

Some of us went to Nerja on Sunday. Nerja's a popular beach on the Coast of the Southern Spain. The views were fantastic! Even on the way there the views of the countryside were pretty amazing. The town attracts a lot of British people so a lot of menus and stuff are in English which was kind of refreshing to see. The beach connects to the Mediation Sea and I definitely tasted salt water for the first time. It was fun to relax for a little but it was so hot! Of course I got burnt. My host mom packed me a bocadillo (a spanish sandwich with real bread- the kind you eat at a restaurant) The sandwich had ham, lettuce and cheese on it and some sort of red sauce. I wasn't sure what it was while I was eating it. Later I found out it was tomatoes sauce which I guess is very typical in Spain. (I'd prefer real tomatoes but that's just me)

 Costa del Sol

Calahonda Beach

Got talked into doing this- but really glad I did

After the beach we went to the caves which were really cool. The caves were discovered in 1959 but formed more than 5 million years ago. You had to go up and down more than 400 stairs to see all aspects of the caves. It was definitely my workout for the day.  I'm glad we went because we were able to see really cool views of Nerja.
