Adventures in food 2

Back by popular demand...
 Pizza
First tapas! Bagels with ham and fries
Fish sticks & soup?
Maria had me try this sauce (on the right) she said if you don’t like it I won’t give it to you. I sort of liked it so I said put only a little on my food. When everyone else came to the table with just fish sticks and the sauce I was thinking hmm their eating light tonight. When I finished my rice, I went to put the sauce on my fish sticks. They sort of laughed at me and shook their heads. Apparently this is the soup of summer and Spaniards eat this COLD soup every day. I told them I thought it was sort of like ketchup and they just laughed. Anyways, I told Maria as nicely as I could that I didn’t think I could eat that every day for the rest of my trip.

Picture of all the baked goods at a shop near my house
Had to go and buy it
Julio always asks me if I want Coca Cola for lunch or dinner and I always tell him it's not Coca Cola it's Pepsi!
Paella!
Ice cream looks so much better in Spain
JP and I with our bocadillos- When we don't eat lunch/dinner at home our homestay parents pack us bocadillos (which are pretty much sandwiches consisting of a lot of bread). The first time I had one their was red stuff on it and it took me a while to realize it was pasta sauce.
